As the years have gone by our guitars are in the hands of many more touring bands, hometown gigging artists and our own local musicians.
We love it when our guitars can be played on a regular basis to share our sound with many listeners. Recently we began updating our artist page and making a playlist on YOUTUBE of Artists playing Thompsons.
Several more to be added in the coming months like Ford Huntington from the up and coming band Theoretical Blonde out of Utah – they are opening for Goose next Saturday and Ford will have his new Thompson up on stage.
Ben from Armchair Boogie is picking up his new Thompson early September during their PNW tour – he has a cool inlay on the headstock for you all to see, we can’t wait for this guitar to get some playing time!
All artists have to wait for their guitars and when they are finally completed there is some excitement and anticipation of how the musician will like it in his or her hands to further their craft. We always hope for the best and when they connect with their Thompson we could not be happier!
Recently at The Big Ponderoo in Sisters — Max Capistran (Damn Tall Buildings) ,Hazel Royer (Big Richard) and Aaron Burdett (Steep Canyon Rangers) all came on board to be part of the Thompson family. Every year we hear more and more music and could not be happier that our guitar family grows bigger, not only with customers, but artists that make a living creating music for us listeners.
If you are a guitar player that plays solo or in a band that graces a stage, we do offer some artist discounts and work with you. Our guitars can help you create all sorts of music whether it is bluegrass, country, blues, jamgrass, jazz, americana singer/songwriter or something in between! Reach out and let us know if you are interested.
Thank you to all our musicians that help spread the word past and present! We appreciate your talents and heart. Here are just a few newer Thompson owners that we love to listen too!
