Mike Gaumer grew up in Pennsylvania and was introduced to bluegrass music as a kid attending a festival near his hometown of Nazareth, PA. His sources of influence stretch from the country music greats of the late 80s and 90s, to current bluegrass stars who have modernized the sounds of Monroe, Flatt and Scruggs into the blend of country and bluegrass heard today. He is the founder of Old Town Flood and resides in Baltimore, MD.
