Jeff Miller’s musical interests began to take root in Portland, OR where he started playing guitar for touring jazz bands. After years of serving in local church music programs Jeff made Central Oregon his home and formed a band with Ben Delery. The band started off as two friends playing open mic nights has turned into Toast & Jam who have now had the opportunity to play on some of the most iconic stages in the US, playing with and opening for some country music’s biggest talents. You can catch them all over Central Oregon, Nashville, TN and everywhere in between.
“When I picked up a Thompson for the first time I was overwhelmed. The clarity, and the low end punch coupled with the even distribution of sound across the entire register was amazing. I hadn’t ever played or heard a guitar like that before. I was ruined for life. I have played some of the finest vintage and custom built guitars around and by far my Thompsons’ are the go to guitar every time no matter where we are playing. At home, on the road, or studio. My Brazilian Rosewood Dreadnaught is in a class all its own clear loud yet elegant and precise. And My mahogany dreadnaught gives me that woody sound that “hog” produces. This one has it in spades”. Better than any D18 style guitar I have ever played.
Not to mention the Team at Thompson is amazing. Christine Funk was gracious enough to come by a recording session and offered up some guitars to try, and you know they made it on the record. We are hooked for life and fans to the core. Thanks you guys, you are amazing!
