PKT Model – Preston Thompson Dreadnought
This new model is based off of a 1983 Preston Thompson Dreadnought we have here at the shop. It is our first Sitka topped guitar and is made with East Indian back and sides. This dreadnought has red abalone on the top trim, back strip and in the single ring rosette.
We present this guitar model to our customers to honor the legacy of Preston, his ability to hear tone and the passion he had for guitars built in the 1930’s.
This guitar has a balanced sound and delivers a warm punch whether you are strumming or flatpicking.
We will offer (10) limited build slots per year – retail $9950 – (2023/2024 pricing)
