At Thompson Guitars we talk about being a custom shop all the time.  The idea of taking a model and adding appointments to make it ‘just for you’ is something that gives us great pleasure.

Adding abalone top trim, custom rosettes and fretboard markers, whether you bind your guitar in tortoise, ivoroid or wood all these appointments make each guitar unique.  We take the vintage and create different modern versions of those classic guitars.

We also offer in-house inlay crafted by our designer and professional artist, Simon Haycraft. He has the ability to create beauty with classic appeal. Preston and Simon talked a lot about keeping things subtle, classic and simple.
