We are proud to work with Peter on a limited edition model with his input on the design. Simon and Peter took time to navigate different images to select the ones that capture Peter’s musical creativity, career and life.
We will offer a limited # of 15 build slots for this custom guitar. It will feature a special label and Peter’s signature. It is offered as a 0000 or a Dreadnought model made with your choice of rosewood for the back and sides (East Indian, Madagascar, Brazilian Rosewood) and an Adirondack spruce top.
We selected Koa wood binding for the body, headstock and fretboard, a colored top trim and a special rosette made with Koa and reconstituted turquoise stone. The Thompson Logo and parts of the special inlays also feature Koa, bone, pearl and reconstituted turquoise stone. This is all highlighted by a beautiful sunburst that has a gradual fade and vibrant coloring.

Included are some photos of the inlay process, rosette and Peter’s guitar in finish. Each inlay has Koa and turquoise reconstituted stone incorporated. The buffalo skull is made of bone with accents of turquoise and Koa for the horns.
