Preston and Laurie had known of each other for years through their good friend Charles Sawtelle. In 2016 Laurie came to the Sisters Folk Festival and she lead a songwriting workshop at Thompson Guitars. She was so pleased at what she heard come out of our guitars that she put in an order.
