As everyone knows the appearance and usability of websites are so important for a company, especially a guitar company in a small town away from the music centers of our country.
We have been super proud of our website, originally designed by Christina at Bold Ampersand, and the photography of Kimberly Teichrow in Bend, Oregon.
It reflects all the details and beauty of our final product and lots of accessible information about who we are and what we offer.
It might take several trips back to our site to find all the goodies under each heading and in regards to our additional build options, we are working on making it easier to learn what we have to offer. Here are some of our websites highlights;
We provide a Meet The Crew page to share with you the awesome individuals that work here! Our History page shares how we got started under the direction of Master Luthier Preston Thompson. To show what we do in each process of our guitar building, check out the page The Handcrafted Difference.
We have several projects in the works under our Limited Edition Models page – it highlights our Signature Models, Timeless Series and Masterpiece Series.
Our Custom Inlay page has so many cool images of past client inlay projects. Simon Haycraft is our in-house inlay designer and can take care of any special request.
The Build Options heading is new with pages showing photos of different binding, rosettes, tuners, finish options and more on the way!
Under Projects/Merchandise we have info on our NW Flatpick Camp, our CD Handmade to Hand Played, Preston Thompson Scholarship fund and what we have to sell in the way of hats, t-shirts and sweatshirts!
Featured Artists and our Dealers pages haven’t changed too much, but we have some new artists coming up this year and there is always the For Sale page under Dealers to check out what is on order and what is being made!
We add videos to our playlists on our YouTube Channel that plugs into our Video page. Adding more tabs this year to hear the sound of different models we have to offer.
And finally the Blog Page offers unique stories and highlights to learn more about what we do here and our Archived Newsletters are an interesting glimpse into the past.
